Quilt Appraisals

There are 3 types of appraisals. Depending on why (your goal) you are requesting an appraisal will dictate the type of appraisal. In addition, I must physically inspect your quilt as part of the process.

1. For Sale - you want to become a knowledgeable seller of your quilt.

2. Insurance - you are keeping the quilt; you are curious; you are entering the quilt in a show or exhibit and it will leave your hands; you are gifting the quilt, etc.

3. Donation - you have already agreed to donate your quilt to a specific non-profit organization and it has agreed to accept your donation. This appraisal must be done within 60 days of the quilt changing hands.
